Crow Constructions engaged Structure By Design to carry out the structural design of the new Shepparton Sports Precinct Grandstand. The Grandstand involved an extensive steel framed roof, precast seating planks and a composite slab. One of the major challenges during the design process was to design the two cantilevered clad roof corner sections, which involved extensive wind load analysis to ensure to roof performs as expected in all conditions.
